Here you will find 28V power supplies with different technologies from FEAS. Choose between unregulated (filtered / smoothed) 28V power supplies or 28V switching power supplies (SMPS). Buy power supply units with a top hat rail or power supply units with an extremely high degree of protection.
Made in Germany: All power supplies are developed and manufactured in our factory in Ahrensburg.

► 28-volt power supply units - unregulated (rectified/ smoothed)

The AC mains voltage is transformed by a transformer to the appropriate rectifier input voltage, which is then filtered and smoothed using an electrolytic capacitor. The output voltage may vary slightly depending on the AC input voltage and DC load. The construction of these 28V power supplies is robust and limited to the essentials. These 28V power supply units are sufficient for controlling valves, relays, contactors and Manget switches and for most PLC controls.

► 28V Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS)

The 28V switched-mode power supply also converts the mains voltage into a regulated 28VDC output voltage, but has a higher efficiency and a smaller size. After filtering and rectification, the AC input voltage is converted into a high-frequency, wave-like pulsating voltage using a pulse-width modulated semiconductor switch and transformed into the required 28V voltage on the secondary side by using a transformer. It is then rectified and filtered again. The higher-performance power supply units are all equipped with Power Factor Correction (PFC).
