The 30VDC switching power supplies are available as cable version or terminal version, for mounting on top-hat rail, on the wall or for 19" rack. Made in Germany: All power supply units are developed and manufactured in our factory in Ahrensburg near Hamburg according to the highest industrial standards.
► 30-Volt Switched Mode Power Supply (SNT) / Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS)
The 30V switched-mode power supply also converts the mains voltage into a regulated 30VDC output voltage, but has a higher efficiency and a smaller size. After filtering and rectification, the AC input voltage is converted into a high-frequency wave-shaped pulsating voltage by a pulse-width modulated semiconductor switch and transformed to the 30V voltage required on the secondary side by means of a transformer. It is then rectified and filtered again. The power supply units of higher power are all equipped with a Power Factor Correction (PFC).
